What I have learnt from this half year of struggle

1) Be receptive.

  • What you have visualized and speculated it to be, doesn’t always turn out the way it supposed to be.

2) Cope with rejections.

  • It is through rejections that one can be successful. It taught me to accept it gracefully and not to take it personally. Failures are fine, as long as you know how to climb up from there.

3) Know yourself.

  • Without knowing what you like or what you dislike will be a hindrance to your career path. Remain alert and observant in each experience you encounter.

4) Never stop your personal development.

  • Stay inquisitive, keep learning.

5) DO NOT GIVE UP, BE CONFIDENT AND LOVE YOURSELF

  • Because you deserve every bit of it.

Ending off, with a quote of mine -“Smile, because you deserve it and it is FREE! :D”

Note to self: Do not BOW to pressure and unwanted influence.

What is your brand?

After watching this TED video,

I have decided to do a 21days Brain Training Challenge. This would allow me to rewire my brain so that it will scan for positivity in the world and not negativity (My route to happiness).

It consists of a range of activities: 3 gratitude, journaling, exercise, meditation, random acts of kindness. I will be incorporating these for my 21days challenge.

Treasure what you have and not long for something that is totally unreachable.
The more you long for it, the more you think the ‘value of it is higher’.
You trade the present moment for the unachievable.
Upon getting it, you realized that it was nothing fantastic as what you had imagined it to be.
Learn to let go.
Cherish the present.

Totally.
Failures are part of our successes.

Today. I retraced back the peak moment I had- especially during summer 2011. Dug out the history of my posts, my thoughts and my conversations with others. This is the time to follow my passion and not following the herd. Now, I am back on track- to the mission I had set. Focus is my good friend now.

When we change the way we see ourselves, others will follow.

Legacy is greater than currency.
